REFLECTION

Fourth Grading. After this will be the graduation, where we will going to say goodbye to our classmates, friends and teachers and “see you soon”.
Let’s not think of this thing yet. Let’s live while we’re young, let’s enjoy our high school life and make memorable experiences, events and others, but before going too far, let’s talked about the things that happened during this year. The things that made us laughed, depressed, pressured and even cry.
This grading was very busy, but still I have learned so many things about photo shop. Even though I have encountered some problems, I still managed to face all of these with faith and dignity.

In this year I hope to learn more about the things that I need to know in enjoying and exiting way.

THE DREAM

Everyone of us has his/her own dreams. Dreams that will encourage us to keep on moving through the path that we have chosen. Dreams that will inspire us to keep on living. And all of these dreams will be very challenging for us.
As of now, we are living in a very modernized world. A world that is full of changes in the community. Technology is very abundant nowadays and because of this, our life has changed so much. But this much is still not enough for some people. It sure changed the community but not the behavior of people. Some may think that the world today is a safe place but some also also think that it is unsafe for us because of the large number of crimes. So my only dream is to have a very peaceful and successful life. No wars, no killing, no stealing, no crimes to be seen in every part of the world. How I wish to be in a place like this. Who wouldn't want to live in a place like what I'm dreaming now?
To make this one and only dream of mine come true, of course I will pray to the Lord for His help and guidance to fulfill my dream. I will not only depend on the Lord for his help but I too will help myself by continuing my studies and I must have determination. And I'm sure, with all of these in my side, my DREAM will be my FUTURE!!!

CHANGE;STARTS IN ME

“Ask not what the country can do for you but together we ask what we can do for our country.” It was one of the catchiest lines I’ve read from a book that Mr. John F. Kennedy has uttered before. It was absolutely true!
In my four years of stay here in this institution which I called home already, it seems that every day of my life is déjà vu. I might see changes but most of the time it is going to the rocky road where it’s not meant to be. The progress seems to be a turtle-walk. Now, the call for change is again bragging our hearts. I have been wondering if change is still possible.
I want every one of you who could pass this short message of mine, to please inculcate not just in your mind but more on your heart that CHANGE must originate in yourself. I assure you that CHANGE is easy but it takes time. Student leaders kept on saying “AKO ANG MAGSISIMULA NG PAGBABAGO” and that is you will be the one to initiate change but that must not be and should not be the first thing. “SA AKIN MAGSISIMULA ANG PAGBABAGO” is much and far better than that one because in this statement the change will initiate within you.
My fellow students who kept on asking for more from this institution please pause for a while and think, HAVE YOU EVER DID SOMETHING GOOD FOR THE SCHOOL OR IS IT THE SCHOOL THAT IS DOING EVERYTHING FOR YOU?
I may talk like I knew everything and I’m innocent about what’ happening but I came to realize that we are the hope of this school to uplift it to a higher level and to be in line with those competitive schools when it comes to quality of education and progress. Now, my fellow students together we stand and start the CHANGE within us, it’s never too late just take one big step.

Again, SA AKIN MAGSISIMULA ANG PAGBABAGO.

KANNAWIDAN

      Kannawidan festival???
I’m honest to admit that it was something new for me. That’s why when Ma’am gave an activity about it which is to write an essay. Out of the blue I found myself feel liked hanging. How can I write something about it if I don’t even know what really it is? But that wasn’t bothering me and here is the product of that confusion at first.

       ILOCOS SUR ROCKS!

This festival is one of the most awaited event here in Ilocos and even here in Vigan. When the said event has come, everyone was wearing their smiles. All of their negative feelings were vanished. This celebration is not just about over-flowing foods, expensive things and countless number of visitors. It is about how you remember the one who is being praised for your festive and for us to be still united and to keep a good relationship with others.
Next time, I would go and explore more about this Kannawidan Festival.

NEW YEAR,NEW ME!

A new year has again come to start, what could be the things that should be changed and should be done. Perhaps a resolution could be done and accomplished. A new year, a new me, the bad things that I’ve done could be changed, the good deeds that I’ve made shall be cherished, a lot of memories to be remembered and to be replaced. The failures and disappointments that the past year has given will serve as a lesson and not a downfall to the things that we do it should make us stronger and it should give us a reason to stand up and start again for the brighter and better future. Life is just so nice, but always be cautious because every corner has its own worries.
Let’s say goodbye for another year and say hello for a new beginning. There are a lot of things to amend and replace the bad old me. As 2013 starts things will be different, some of my actions and attitudes might be altered and replaced with a new and possibly a better one. I always say to myself not to repeat the same mistakes that I have done for the past years, and to leave and forget the bad memories that the old me has made. Regrets filled the year 2012, but I’m trying to move on and live life the way it was when everything was still fine and good. All I can do is accept the truth and try to walk away because I have nothing to fight for. I tried my best to bring out the best and the good in me but maybe I have to try harder to be the person that I really want to be this year.
New Year a new life they say, but for me it’s just the same thing. Why do we need to wait for New Year for us to change? Every single day is different, every single day is a new beginning but why is it that they make such resolutions in New Year’s while they can make changes anytime they want. As my father said “Changes are good especially if it’s for the better.” New Year, new me.

Equal?

Imagine the world where people are equal. Social, academic, and political classes are vanished, People with the same mental capabilities sharing land and resources equally. Social life is a reflection of an individual’s relations with people, economy, and education. Just like in the world of matter and atoms, likely atoms bond together and form a stronger element. Discarding the significance of equality among living creatures enforce the stability of the bonds among similar elements. This stability eliminates the chances of bringing together unfavorable elements. A world where the poor can not challenge the rich or even get along with him is undesired. Seeking the life style where everybody is equal.

One of the sign of this phenomena is the disrimination activites.Discrimination is the prejudicial treatment of an individual based on their actual or perceived membership in a certain group or category, "in a way that is worse than the way people are usually treated. It involves the group's initial reaction or interaction, influencing the individual's actual behavior towards the group or the group leader, restricting members of one group from opportunities or privileges that are available to another group, leading to the exclusion of the individual or entities based on logical or irrational decision making.

So live equaly and may the world attain its mood of peace. No problems that will encounter abuot this.live happy and see the sunrise again.

                                      English?

English month is celebrated during the month of October. Lot of things has done during this month.

From the theme “Upholding English Proficiency for Communicative Competence”, this theme had a lot of meaning right? English is the international language. So we should learn this language in order for us to be more proficient in speaking English. This is use in our everyday lives so it was really important to it.  English is use in communicating to others especially those people in other places. How can we understand them if we don’t know how to speak English.

English is really important we should enhance our selves in using it. We should use it day by day to be more proficient. So English is important in our lives.Without it we will be a depth people in the world, because it is the universal language .

                    Climate Change

Climate change is a tangible problem and its existence can no longer be denied. It is one of the most important scientific, economic threats facing to the earth. There are many factors lead to climate change, such as greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, fossil fuels. Although it would be self-deception to believe that humans had nothing to do with it, the fact is that human activities caused negative effects on climate change. More people exploit more natural resources, cut more trees, use more fossil fuels, produce more wastes, build more roads, dams and cities, pollute more soil, water and air, and contribute more greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, which may lead to the ozone depletion and global warming, i.e., ultimately damaging the entire environment and annoying the climatic change. Thus, man is capable of influencing global climate deliberately or inadvertently through his various actions and activities.

Because CO2 and other greenhouse gases are so long-lived in the atmosphere, enhanced greenhouse warming can be expected to persist for centuries. The impacts - many of which are effectively irreversible - will affect everyone on earth. Human health, patterns and intensity of precipitation, water and food supplies, coastal development, energy supplies, and the viability of natural systems: all will be affected if Earth's climate continues to change.

                                                                   CHRISTMAS?

To me Christmas means a time of happiness towards everyone. It is a time when families and close friends come home from all over the world to be with the people they love. To most people family and friends come first in their lives, so this is obviously a very favored holiday.

When it’s Christmas time, people exchange gifts often and take it for granted. This holiday is usually associated with receiving gifts. Personally, I think giving a gift is just as great as receiving one. Most of the time giving can be even more enjoyable. The whole idea of finding that perfect gift, making someone smile, and him or her realizing that you put that much thought into just one gift is just one way which Christmas brings happiness to everyone.

They imagine seeing snow-covered houses lit up all along the street with their bright lights one trying to outdo another, and a large, fresh pine tree in their living room window covered with lights and bulbs with an angel perched onto the very top. When they come in the kitchen they smell the contagious aroma of their mother’s cookies baking. That is an example of a typical outlook on a normal Christmas. To me it’s not Christmas without the decorations or festive Christmas treats.

Christmas time is my favorite time of year. I love when it’s time to shop for all those Christmas gifts for everyone. I love the red and green decorations, and my beautifully decorated Christmas tree sitting in my living room. I love the snow, when my grandma makes her gingerbread cookies, and the great music. But most of all, I love this time of year because I get the chance to be with my family and friends while I enjoy everyone’s Christmas cheer during this wonderful time of year.
